This simple FileMaker Pro database contains trigonometric calculation fields
to determine and compare the ratio of sides between two right triangles.
It is most useful for keeping track of parts or components which have an angular dimensions. It will calculate the included angles of any right triangle, permitting you
enter the length of it's sides.
The architectural standard form of expressing "slope" as a ratio between a 10 or 12 inch base and a "rise" or "set" of any dimension is also calculated. Other sized bases
are also included.
Fabricators, stairbuiders, carpenters, plumbers, and many others will immediately recognize the usefulness of this simple, free calculator.
We created this file to calculate and store dimensions of the many parts that we manufacture which have angled cuts or bends.
